Summary

102d Intelligence Wing, Force Support Flight personnel assist Airmen of the Security Forces Squadron through the Personnel Deployment Function at Otis Air National Guard Base prior to their departure to Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico, Nov. 4, 2017.
The 102nd Airmen, along with the 104th Fighter Wing and The Connecticut National Guard, will assist in overall airfield security and protection of personnel and resources in Puerto Rico. Working in support of civil authorities, 102nd Security Forces Defenders will function as part of an integrated federal, state, and local response.
The training and equipment Air National Guard Airmen receive in order to fight our nation's wars is what makes it possible for the Airmen of the 102nd Intelligence Wing to rapidly respond during homeland emergencies, not only in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but in other states, regions and territories of the United States.
