MISSISSIPPI RIVER (April 23, 2015) -- Sailors and Marines man the rails aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp Sailors and Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are currently underway to participate in Navy Week New Orleans 2015, a weeklong celebration and collaboration with the community of New Orleans with ships representing the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy.
