GUAM (Feb. 24, 2016) Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron 3 (CRS 3) embark a Riverine Command Boat (RCB) aboard Military Sealift Command USNS Soderman (T-AKR 317) for exercise Foal Eagle 2016 at Naval Base Guam. Foal Eagle is a series of joint and combined field training exercises conducted by the Republic of Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command (CFC) and U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) component commands spanning ground, air, naval and special operations, which demonstrate U.S. commitment to the Republic of Korea (ROK) and U.S. supporting forces. CRS 3 is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
