160713-M-WH287-914 KAHUKU TRAINING AREA (July 13, 2016)- A U.S. Marine determines the best route to take during an air assault July 13, 2016 in the Kahukus Training Area. The Marine is from 2nd Battalion, 3d Marines taking part in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 16, the world's largest international maritime exercise. The battalion is a ground combat element for a Marine Air-Ground Task Force embarked aboard the USS San Diego, USS America, HMAS Canberra during the exercise that increases naval integration.
