160726-M-ND832-008 MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, Hawaii (July 26, 2016) – Lance Cpl. Philip Potter performs pre-flight checks on a C-130 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Hawaii, July 26, 2016. Potter is participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. During RIMPAC, Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 crew members are responsible for preparing aircraft for flight, onloading and offloading cargo, and ensuring the safety of passengers and other crew members. Potter, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, is a crewmaster with VMGR-152 (call sign SUMO), Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, which supports III Marine Expeditionary Force.
