(Aug. 17, 2016) - Aviation Electronics Technician Operator Chief select Kristopher Smith, assigned at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island (VAQ129), Wash., chips paint for the USS Turner Joy repainting. USS Turner Joy Chief Petty Officer Legacy Academy gives recent chief selectees the privilege of attending as Class 008.
