Patrick Trabert, assigned to the Trident Training Facility crosses the finish line first during a chief petty officer (CPO) birthday 5k run at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor's Brick Courtyard. The event, hosted by the Pacific Northwest Chief Petty Officers Association was held in celebration of the 124th birthday of the CPO. The U.S. Navy created the rank of CPO on April 1, 1893 and honors it annually by taking part in events demonstrating pride and tradition.
