170713-N-XK809-219 CORAL SEA (July 13, 2017) Weapons department Sailors and Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) load ordnance into a CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as part of a large-scale amphibious assault during Talisman Saber 17. Bonhomme Richard, serving in a combined U.S.-Australia-New Zealand amphibious force, executed ship-to-shore movements of MEU forces and equipment in order to enable the MEU to complete mission objectives.
