170925-N-DC385-294 SASEBO, Japan (Sept. 25, 2017) Seaman Jordan Smith, left, from Clayton, N.C., and Seaman Eric Rosser, from Waldorf, Md., wrap a mooring line around a bit during a sea and anchor detail aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as the ship returns to Sasebo following a four-month deployment in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Bonhomme Richard served as the flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group during the deployment, which was highlighted by the U.S.-Australia bilateral exercise Talisman Saber and several port visits in Australia resulting in enhanced interoperability and relations between the two allies.
