GULF OF THAILAND (Feb. 18, 2018) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) transits the Gulf of Thailand during a Cobra Gold (CG) 2018 photo exercise. Bonhomme Richard is participating in CG-18 alongside Royal Thai Navy ships and personnel, conducting a range of amphibious operations that will enhance the tactical expertise of participants and rehearse combined capabilities to respond to contingencies. The annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand takes place Feb. 13-23 with seven full participating nations.
