WASHINGTON (July 3, 2017) Naval Aircrewman Helicopter 2nd Class Shea Ross, assigned to Naval Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 1, looks for air contacts from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter while flying over the Potamac River near the Washington Monument. VX-1's muission is to test and evaluate airborne anti-submarine warfare and maritime anti-surface warfare weapon systems, airborne strategic weapon systems, as well support systems, equipment and materials in an operational environment.
