181119-N-CK689-1001 SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 19, 2018) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Kristopher Conklin, from Orlando, Fla., and assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Sasebo, drills holes into metal framing to be used to secure conduit on walls during a project to construct a pre-engineered metal building that will house shore power connections for amphibious assault platforms at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
