190308-N-NJ416-004 Key West, FL (Mar. 8, 2019) Naval Air Station Key West's Security Forces, in conjunction with the U.S.
Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Key West
Police Department and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, issue
federal citations to vessels anchored in restricted waters off Fleming Key,
including a number of vessels being operated as vacation rentals. The
enforcement operation was conducted in order to clear vessels out of
potentially dangerous areas near Fleming Key bunkers that store explosive
materials. Naval Air Station Key West is the state-of-the-art facility for
combat fighter aircraft of all military services, provides world-class
pierside support to U.S. and foreign naval vessels, and is the premier
training center for surface and subsurface military operations.

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
