A 108th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker with the New Jersey

A 108th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker with the New Jersey Air National Guard, assigned to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., refuels a B-52H Stratofortress assigned to the 343rd Bomb Squadron May 24, 2016. The B-52H, which is stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., is a long-range, heavy bomber that can perform a variety of missions. The bomber is capable of flying at high subsonic speeds and can carry nuclear or precision guided conventional ordnance with worldwide precision navigation capability. The KC-135R Stratotanker provides the core aerial refueling capability and enhances the Air Force's capability to accomplish its primary mission of global reach.
