A B-1B Lancer takes to the skies at Royal Air Force Fairford, United Kingdom, Aug. 27, 2017. It was taking off on its first flight since arriving in the U.K. a few days ago. The bomber was headed to do fly-overs at air shows in Poland and Slovakia. Beginning Aug. 28 it will participate in Exercise Ample Strike, a Czech-led exercise designed allow the U.S. to work closely with its NATO partners and allies in a forward environment.
