A litter bearing an Afghan child is moved from a bus to a platform at Weisbaden's US Air Force Regional Medical Center. The child is one of 25 Afghan civilians who were transported to West Germany aboard a Military Airlift Command aircraft. The patients, who are being delivered for specialized medical treatment following injuries incurred as a result of Afghanistan's civil war, will later be evacuated to hospitals in Europe and the United States for donated medical assistance
