A Marine at Fort McCoy for the 2nd Marine Air Wing’s Ullr Shield exercise participates in cold-water immersion training on Jan. 17, 2018, at Big Sandy Lake on South Post at Fort McCoy, Wis. Ullr Shield is a training exercise designed to improve 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing’s capabilities in extreme cold-weather environments.
