A member of the 51st Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment section begins to remove the flight suit of Capt. William Yoakley, 25th Fighter Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot, during Operational Readiness Exercise Beverly Midnight 14-01 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Jan. 15, 2014. This scenario required Yoakley to be “decontaminated” – a process that involves an initial mist with a bleach and water solution followed by a scrub with M-295 pads, before the systematic removal and cleansing of all protective equipment. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
