A regenerated C-130E Hercules aircraft awaits departure

A regenerated C-130E Hercules aircraft awaits departure at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., Sept. 14, 2020. This aircraft was the fifth C-130 the U.S. has donated to Colombia through the Excess Defense Articles (EDA) program as part of the longstanding partnership between the two countries. Colombia’s entire fleet of C-130s has come from the U.S. as part of broader Defense Security Cooperation Agency efforts to advance U.S. national security and foreign policy interests by building capacity of foreign partners to respond to shared challenges.
