Summary
A row of Iraqi and Western media representatives record with their cameras during the Iraqi Air Enterprise Media Day at Martyr Mohammad Ala’a Air Base, Iraq, Sep. 17, 2019. More than five different Iraqi media outlets, along with two Western media outlets, attended the event to interview IqAE leadership on their continuous growth of air defense capabilities. The IqAE consists of the Iraqi Air Defense Command, Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Army Aviation, all which are partnered with Task Force-Air whose mission is to provide training, advice, assistance and enablement across the IqAE’s joint warfighting functions.
