A Royal Saudi Navy helicopter is being "chocked and chained" on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) during Exercise Eager Lion 2014. Roosevelt is participating in Exercise Eager Lion and is deployed as a part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Eager Lion is a recurring, multinational exercise designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships, increase interoperability between partner nations and enhance regional security and stability.
