A scout watches Sound Strike perform during the 24th World Scout Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve, Glen Jean, W.Va., July 27, 2019. The World Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement. The jamboree hosted an estimated 45,000 scouts from more than 150 countries around the world. Sound Strike is a rock band with Marine Band San Diego, which traveled from Southern California as an effort by the Department of Defense to support the World Scout Jamboree and represent the Marine Corps while uniting the scouts through music.
