A Third Army soldier’s height is checked after weighing in during his arrival at the Warrior Leader Course here Feb. 12. Upon arrival at WLC, all soldiers are required to pass height and weight standards, as well as an inspection of serviceability for their assigned military equipment. WLC is the first course of study in the U.S. Army Noncommissioned Officer Education System. During the 15-day course, soldiers are trained on the fundamentals of leadership, training, and war fighting skills. By offering WLC to soldiers in its area of responsibility, Third Army is shaping the future by educating, inspiring, and training our future NCOs.
