Summary
A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C., moves back into the fight April 27, after refueling during Green Flag West 11-6. Conducted by the 549th Combat Training Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base Nev., and the 12th Combat Training Squadron at Fort Irwin, Calif., Green Flag West replicates irregular warfare conditions currently found in Southwest Asia. Aircrews, work closely with Air Force joint terminal attack controllers. Pilots train for a missions such as close air support, and aerial reconnaissance.
