A U.S. Army Soldier from the 82nd Airborne Division
Summary
A U.S. Army Soldier from the 82nd Airborne Division fist bumps Indonesian Army Staff Sgt. Thofik Hidayat, a jumpmaster from the 502nd Airborne Battalion, prior to jumping over Sicily Drop Zone, Fort Bragg, N.C., during 17th Annual Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop on Dec. 5. They jumped with other Fort Bragg paratroopers from a U.S. Air Force Reserve C-130H Hercules aircraft from the 440th Airlift Wing. Operation Toy Drop is an annual U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) sponsored event. Toy Drop gathers thousands of toys donated by Fort Bragg Soldiers and Pope Airmen and distributes them to local area children who might otherwise not receive a toy during the holidays. A large airborne operation is also part of Toy Drop. Paratroopers will get a chance to train and jump with a jumpmaster from one of eight countries participating this year. This allows them to earn foreign airborne or “jump” wings. (U.S. Air Force photo/Marvin Krause)
