A U.S. Army Soldier with the 251st Area Support Medical Company, South Carolina Army National Guard, records vital signs and documents the injuries of a civilian role player at a decontamination and triage field site, during Guardian Response 18 at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Indiana, April 12, 2018. Army North conducts Exercise Guardian Response annually as part of its mission to train the nation's military CBRN response capability. Throughout April, about 5,000 personnel will train in aviation, medical, engineering, logistics and other life-saving tasks during the exercise simulating a demanding disaster environment.
