A U.S. Marine, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, repels down the tower of the Devil Dog Dare Challenge, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC., Sept 10, 2014. The Devil Dog Dare Challenge is a three part confidence based course designed to increase unit cohesion, and to build and test the endurance of Marines and Sailors. The rope portion of the course includes 8 obstacles, from ziplining to rappelling. After the rope course, the Marine or Sailor will be provided a mountain bike and must conquer a three mile bike trail, which is then followed by two rock climbing walls. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
