Summary
A U.S. Marine, Marine Wing Support Squadron 271, balances himself on a wire while holding a rope to move across to the second station of the Devil Dog Dare Challenge, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC., Sept. 10, 2014. The Devil Dog Dare Challenge is a three part confidence based course designed to increase unit cohesion, and to build and test the endurance of Marines and Sailors. The rope portion of the course includes 8 obstacles, from ziplining to rappelling. After the rope course, the Marine or Sailor will be provided a mountain bike and must conquer a three mile bike trail, which is then followed by two rock climbing walls.
