A U.S. Marine with Black Sea Rotational Force 16.2 adjusts the deflection of the M224A1 for his gun team’s M252 81M mortar system on a platoon attack range during Platinum Lynx 16.5 at Babadag Training Area, Romania, Sept. 24, 2016. Platinum Lynx 16.5 allows Marines from units across the globe, including the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines and a Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team based out of Spain, to train alongside partner nations in the Black Sea, Balkan, and Caucasus regions.
