Air lift by Puma helicopters is one capability the USNS Matthew Perry is able to provide during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and Military Medicine Exercise hosted by Brunei Darussalam from June 17 to 20. More than 2,500 multinational personnel from 18 countries are participating in the exercise, which allows partner nations an opportunity to collaborate with one another to achieve mutual security goals, address shared concerns, and continue to develop and enhance relationships.
