Airman 1st Class Caleb Cauthorn and Staff Sgt. Jared
Summary
Airman 1st Class Caleb Cauthorn and Staff Sgt. Jared Boles, both with the 374th Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance, remove air bubbles from a decal placed on the side of C-130J Super Hercules 15-5813 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 19, 2017. The nose art design, "Spirit of Hope," celebrates the United States Air Force's dedication to providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to nations throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. The artwork itself is a rendering of an Air Force C-130 airdropping humanitarian aid during Operation Christmas Drop. For 65 years running, Yokota Air Base aircraft and personnel have supported this event. In 2016 alone, four Yokota Air Base C-130s, along with the Royal Australian Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force, airdropped 25 tons of aid to 25,000 people spread across 56 Micronesian Islands.
