ANZAC Day commemorates the anniversary of the landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps on the shores of Gallipoli during World War I and has become a holiday in Australia and New Zealand to honor veterans. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin honored the holiday by marching in the parade and participating in the ceremonies.
