An F/A 18C Hornet approaches the rear of a KC-130J Hercules during a fixed-wing air-to-air refueling mission as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor course 2-15 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., April 16, 2015. Refueling is only one of the many evaluated events that WTI pilot candidates execute in order to graduate. WTI is a seven-week course hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1, certifying the Marine Corps’ top pilots as weapons and tactics instructors who will serve in key training positions in the fleet.
