Summary
An International Security Assistance Force soldier uses binoculars to look into the hills of Afghanistan from a German ATF Dingo during a patrol. The Dingo is a heavily armored military vehicle designed to withstand landmines, rifle fire and artillery fragments. Soldiers assigned to ISAF, Regional Command North, are currently deployed in support of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, operating to reduce insurgency, support growth of the Afghan National Security Forces, and facilitate governance and socio-economic development.
