Aransas, Texas Pelican release

HOUMA, La. - Lt. Kevin Crecy, a pilot from the incident command post in Houma, along with Dr. Sharon K. Taylor, a division chief with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, transfer a cage of brown pelicans to an HC-144A Ocean Sentry aircraft for transport to Port Aransas, Texas, June 27, 2010. The brown pelicans were rescued off the Louisiana coast and then taken to the Fort Jackson Bird Rehabilitation Center, where they were fed, washed, stabilized and then returned back to the wild.
