Army Pfc. Michael Febus, Headquarters and Headquarters
Summary
Army Pfc. Michael Febus, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 725th Brigade Support Battalion, loads his shotgun prior to engaging clay pigeons as his unit spends a day at the Skeet/Trap Range on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 15, 2013. Expending hundreds of shotgun shells, soldiers took a break from the rigors of everyday military life by participating in the event as part of the unit’s cohesion and resiliency training. Between rounds of target shooting, soldiers conducted hip-pocket training on subjects such as team-building, suicide prevention, substance abuse and other topics to build self-confidence and self-awareness of ways to help their battle-buddy in tough situations.
