Army Sgt. Michael Owens escorts members of the media during a tour of the Camp X-Ray at Joint Task Force Guantanamo. Although no longer used, most who visit are unaware it has been abandoned. JTF-GTMO conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations.
