Army Spc. Justin Barnett (far left), a paratrooper assigned to Troop B, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, joins American and Estonians politicians and diplomats in a grand-opening ceremony of Magdaleena Hospital’s Amputee Care Center July 2 in Tallinn, Estonia. Barnett, a native of Gulfport, Miss., and three other paratroopers from Troop B joined American, British and Estonian service members and leaders in honoring the contributions made by the United Kingdom and the United States in helping to open the center, which will treat wounded Estonian troops, who previously had to go out of country for such care. six-year long project made possible by the time, resources and expertise from Estonia, Great Britain, and the United States. Approximately 600 paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne are in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve to demonstrate America’s commitment to NATO obligations and sustain interoperability with allied forces.
