Description: Astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell, lunar module pilot, adjusts the color television camera near the beginning of the first EVA (EVA 1) of the Apollo 14 mission. The sheet near the lower left corner of the photograph contained samples of thermal-control coatings. The samples were photographed with the closeup stereocamera to record the degradatiaon of optical properties after the samples were covered with dust.
