Summary
The original database describes this as:
Description: View westward to the terminator in eastern Sea of Rains (Mare Imbrium). The low Sun angle exaggerates small differences in elevation. Beer and Feuillee Craters, near the center, are at the edge of material that looks like rough mare deposits in a higher sun angle. In this view, the affinity of this material to nearby highlands seems more likely. The chain of craters extending towards the camera from Beer Crater is Archimedes Rille I (Rime Archimedes).View was taken during Revolution 16 of the Apollo 15 flight. Original film magazine was labeled S,film type was 3414 (Low Speed Black and White), 80mm lens with a sun elevation of 3 degrees. Approximate altitude was 100 km with a Principal Point Latitude 26.5 N by Longitude 8.0 W with a Camera Tilt of 40 degrees and an azimuth of 300 degrees.
