Description: Approximately 18 hours after transearth injection the Command Module Pilot (CMP) Alfred M. Worden egressed the Command Module (CM) to retrieve film cassettes from the Scientific Instrument Module (SIM). In this Hasselblad photograph, an open spiral of the umbilical frames the oxygen purge system mounted low on the CMP's back. He is inspecting equipment mounted in the SIM bay after handing the panoramic-camera film cassette to the crewmen in the CM. After retrieving the mapping and stellar camera film containers the CMP ended the first transearth coast EVA. Image was taken during the TransEarth Coast (TEC) phase of the Apollo 15 mission. Original film magazine was labeled Q,film type was S0368 (Color Exterior,Ektachrome color reversal), 80mm lens.
