Aviation electronics technician Petty Officer 2nd Class James Wells, 26-year-old native of Tulsa, Okla., reinstalls a tactical data processor into a SH-60F Seahawk, assigned to the "Black Knights" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 4, in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The Seahawk is a twin-engine helicopter used for anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, drug interdiction, anti-ship warfare, cargo lift, and special operations. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
