Summary
Cadets work on two Hogan houses during Field Engineering & Readiness Laboratory at Jacks Valley in Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 14, 2016. The cadets and faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering along with civil engineer craftsmen from the Air Force Reserve Command work with the Southwest Indian Foundation to improve Navajo quality of life by constructing housing for families. FERL is a five-week program where cadets perform hands-on activities in surveying, construction methods, and construction materials under the supervision and guidance of mentors.
