More than 240 participants from 16 countries are in Santiago, Chile, from April 30 to May 11, 2012, to participate the annual Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, focusing on the exchange of inter-regional peacekeeping tactics, battalion and company level training and the exchange of information between multi-national and joint forces. Countries invited to take part in this exercise include Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Paraguay, Peru, the United States and Uruguay.
