Capt. Christopher Bushnell, commander of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 31, is interviewed by local media as the guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) departs Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for an independent deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean.
