Capt. Clinton Brooks (left), commander of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, and Sgt. John Halcrow, who also serves with Co. B, stand at attention on Nov. 26 after being awarded the Bronze Star Medal with "V" device for valor at Forward Operating Base SUJ. Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, commanding general of MND-B and the 4th Infantry Division, presented them with the medals and also presented the Army Commendation Medal to Spc. Luis Cobos, Sgt. Gjamale Kavier, Sgt. Murray Spence and Sgt Nickolas Workman. The men were involved in a 45-minute firefight with approximately 150 enemy fighters following a blast from an explosively formed penetrator on March 30.
