Chief Master Sgt. Wesley Mathias, 375th Air Mobility Wing Command Chief, spoke with Airmen during a closing ceremony Oct. 21, 2015, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The ceremony was a part of the First Four Leadership Conference or FALCON held annually for airmen by airmen. The conference involved several workshops and classes revolving around the topics chosen by airmen to help with the growth and development of their military or civilian career. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
