Chief Naval Aircrewman (Mechanical) Matthew Meadows, who was meritoriously advanced to the rank of chief petty officer during the 2013 Navy Sailor of the Year pinning ceremony, stands in formation with newly pinned chief petty officers during a chief pinning ceremony at Hickam Officer's Club Lanai, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The chief pinning ceremony is part of a long-standing tradition that honors and recognizes the years of hard work, service and leadership of dedicated Sailors in the Navy.
