Petty Officer 1st Class Adam Proctor and Petty Officer 3rd Class Suren Chandrasena, boatswains mates on board Coast Guard Cutter BERTHOLF, operate the winch controls of BERTHOLF's stern launch system Nov. 3, 2008. The stern launch and crane system will allow BERTHOLF's crew to carry, launch and recover up to three small boats from the stern, in addition to one boat from the side davit.
