Col. David Jordan, commander of the U.S. Army’s 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, observes officers of the Ukrainian army’s 1st Battalion, 95th Separate Airmobile Brigade participating in an after action review following a computer-assisted command post exercise in the new Yavoriv Combat Training Center Simulations Center during their training cycle at the Yavoriv CTC on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center near Yavoriv, Ukraine on Sept. 4.
The Yavoriv CTC Simulations Center is the first facility of its kind in Ukraine. The CPX is being conducted not only as a part of the staff training but also as a test of the Simulation Center’s network before its official opening. Yavoriv Observer Coach Trainers, along with mentors from the U.S. Army's 45th IBCT, led the training for soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 95th Separate Airmobile Brigade during the battalion's rotation through the Yavoriv CTC.
